At Seasons, we believe in the multi-disciplinary approach – incorporating the mind, body, and spirit – and work together with health care providers to offer exemplary service to our clients.
We help with all of life’s problems.
Equipped to help
We are familiar with the needs of those seeking help with relationship problems, family issues, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, addiction, and other life concerns.
Our counselors represent a variety of disciplines including: clinical social work, pastoral counseling, psychology, mediation, and marriage and family therapy.
Each member of our counseling team is certified and/or licensed by their respective professional organizations and represent a variety of faith traditions. As professionals, they understand and respect the religious perspectives of each client and, if appropriate, incorporate these values into the therapeutic process.

Since insurance coverage varies so much, please call the toll-free number on the back of your health insurance card and ask. It’s best to find out the following:
- Does your insurance cover counseling?
- How many sessions will it cover?
- What is the co-pay per session?
- What is the deductible?
- What percentage of each session is covered by insurance?
- Do I need pre-authorization?
Many times, your insurance will cover a portion of your sessions. If you do not have insurance or your insurance will not cover the cost of your counseling services, we have a Client Assistance Fund. However, if your insurance does not cover your visits and you are not eligible for the Client Assistance Fund, the cost is $145 for the initial session and $110 for following sessions. Sessions generally last 45 minutes.
To ensure that clients receive the counseling services they need, the Samaritan Counseling Center has a Client Assistance Fund, which is supported by donors, grants and fundraisers. You may request assistance from the Client Assistance Fund to help cover the cost of counseling. Assistance levels are based on family income, number of individuals in the household and availability of funds. All clients are responsible for some portion of the fee. Should this amount still be a financial burden, easy payment plans are available. Please ask about this when you call.
Our support staff is available to schedule appointments and answer questions during normal business hours. Appointment availability varies by clinician, but most offer appointments throughout week days and evenings.
Seasons Counseling of Michiana takes your faith and spiritual values very seriously. Each member of our staff is committed to a holistic approach to counseling that recognizes the mind, body and spirit – but we will only incorporate that into counseling if it is something you request.
